Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Women Friends held 1st month 16th 1869.
The clerk not being present Mary Dunbar was appointed clerk for the day.
Margaret K. White, having requested for our certificate of her right of membership with their minor son to be conveyed to Salem Monthly Meeting, Iowa, Louisa Dunbar and Mary Beals are appointed to make necessary inquiry; and if they find nothing to hinder, to prepare and produce one to next meeting.
Thomas Jones, having requested for our certificate of the rights of membership of himself and family to be conveyed to Springfield Monthly Meeting, Kansas, Rebecca Butler and Delilah Hayworth are appointed in conjunction with Men Friends to prepare and produce one to next meeting if they find nothing to hinder.
Thomas Winder and Martha his wife with their minor daughter Ellen request their rights of membership conveyed to Springfield Monthly Meeting. Mary Beals and Mary Dunbar are appointed in conjunction with Men Friends to prepare and produce one to next meeting if they find nothing to hinder.
The minutes on the state of society and also the London General Epistle were read in this meeting.

(P 59) Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Women Friends held 2nd month 20th 1869.
The 1st, 2nd and 8th queries were read in this meeting with corresponding answers to them which are directed to be forwarded to the Quarterly (Meeting) by Sarah Grant, Louisa Dunbar and Sarah Henley whom we appoint our representatives and direct them to report to next meeting.
The committee appointed to prepare and produce a certificate for Margaret White and child forwarded one which the clerk is directed to sign.
Rebecca Butler and Delilah Hayworth who were appointed in last month to assist in preparing and producing a certificate for Thomas Jones and family forwarded one which the clerk is directed to sign.
The committee appointed to prepare a certificate for Thomas Winder and family produced one which the clerk is directed to sign.

Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Women Friends held 3rd month 20th 1869.
The representatives report they all attended. There was nothing given them for this meeting.
The Preparative Meeting forwarded to this meeting a complaint against Mary Rocroft (formerly Jones) for accomplishing her marriage contrary to discipline. Amy R. Kemp and Mary Dunbar are appointed to treat with her on the subject and report to next meeting.
Received a certificate which was read and accepted from Rocksylvania Monthly Meeting conveying to this Meeting the rights of membership of Isaac Palmer and Hannah his wife with their minor children. Amelia Butler and Amy R. Kemp are appointed in conjunction with Men Friends to visit them on the reception of said certificate and report to next meeting.
Amelia Butler, Elizabeth Holaday, Louisa Dunbar, Cynthia Holaday and Amy R. Kemp are appointed in conjunction with Men Friends to consider the subject of moving the meeting house or building a new one in all its bearings and report to next meeting.
Deilah Hayworth, being about to move, the Meeting unites in appointing Louisa Dunbar and Elizabeth Burks to bring forward the name of a Friend to fill the station of overseer and report to next meeting.

(P 60) Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Women Friends met 4th month 17th 1869.
Amelia Butler and Amy R. Kemp, not having complied with their appointment to visit Isaac Palmer and family on receipt of said certificate, are continued to report to next meeting.
The committee appointed to consider the subject of moving the meeting hour or building a new one report they think the time has not come to make a move towards a new one and the old one (is) not fit to move.
The committee appointed to bring forward the name of a Friend to fill the station of overseer not being ready to report are continued and directed to report to next meeting.
Sarah Henley and Louisa Dunbar are appointed to inform Mary Rocroft the judgment of the Meeting in her case and report to next meeting.
Amy R. Kemp, Mary Beals, Mary Wasson, Elizabeth Burks, Amelia Butler and Mary Dunbar are appointed in conjunction with Men Friends to make selection of a location for a meeting house; also to report the probably cost of said house.
A part of the Quarterly Meeting's committee appointed to consider the subject of a division of the Quarterly Meeting have very acceptably been with us.

Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Women Friends held 5th month 22nd 1869.
The committee appointed to make selection of a sight for the new meeting house make the following satisfactory report:
The committee unites in locating the house on the southeast corner of the northwest quarter of section 35, township 18, range 21, owned by Wm. Grant. The cost of building the house is estimated at $1900.00, the house to be built of stone 30 X 60 ft., 12 ft. story.

A certificate was received, read and accepted from Salem Monthly Meeting of Friends, Iowa, conveying to this Meeting the right of membership of David Davis.
A certificate was received, read and accepted conveying to this Meeting the right of membership of Reuben Davis from Salem Monthly Meeting, Iowa.
A certificate was received, read and accepted conveying to this Meeting the rights of membership of George F. Coffin and Lydia his wife with their minor children, Levi, Aaron, Mary, Jonathan, Jane and Louisa Coffin, from West Union Monthly Meeting of Friends held 6th month 7th 1869.
Our Friend Thomas Jay has very acceptably attended this Meeting and produced a minute of unity and concurrence from Back Creek Monthly Meeting of Friends held 3rd month 18th 1869, whose company and gospel labors have been satisfactory to us.
Our Friend Elizabeth Jay has very acceptably attended this Meeting in company with her husband and produced a minute of unity and concurrence from Back Creek Monthly Meeting whose company was satisfactory.
(P 2) Allen Hayworth requests the rights of membership for himself and family to be conveyed to Union Monthly Meeting, Jasper Co., Missouri. Sarah Henley and Mary Wasson are appointed in conjunction with Men Friends to make necessary inquiry; and if they find nothing to hinder, prepare and produce one to next meeting.

The committee appointed to assist in preparing certificates for Allen Hayworth and family, not being ready to report, are continued and directed to report to next meeting.
The queries with corresponding answers to them have been read in this meeting which are directed to be forwarded to the Quarterly Meeting by Amelia C. Butler, Sarah K. Grand and Mary Beals whom we appoint our representatives and direct them to report to next meeting.

(P 29) Our beloved Friend Phebe Cook, a minister, has very acceptably attended this Meeting and produced a minute of unity and concurrence from Richland, Monthly Meeting 6th month 2nd 1869 endorsed by Richland Quarterly Meeting 6th month 5th whose company and gospel labors have been strengthening and edifying to us.
Our beloved Friend Cyrus Cook has very acceptably attended this Meeting and produced a minute of unity and concurrence from Richland, Mo. held 7th month 7th 1869, whose company has been satisfactory to us.
Our beloved Friend Milton Winslow has very acceptably attended this Meeting and produced a minute and care from Back Creek Monthly Meeting of Friends held 4th month 15th 1869 whose company and gospel labors have been satisfactory to us.
(P 3 and 29) Wm. E. J. Nixon, having requested our certificate of the rights of membership of himself and family to be conveyed to Cottonwood Monthly Meeting, Ann White and Sarah K. Grant are appointed in conjunction with Men Friends to prepare and produce one to next meeting if no obstruction appears.
(P 3) A certificate was received, read and accepted conveying to this meeting the rights of membership of Delphina Hodson from West Union Monthly Meeting held 8th month 9th 1869.

The representatives report they all attended except one for whose absence a satisfactory reason was rendered.
The committee appointed to prepare and produce a certificate for Amy R. Kemp and daughter have produced one which the clerk is directed to sign.
The committee appointed to assist in preparing and producing a certificate for Wm. Nixon and family have produced one which the clerk is directed to sign.

The clerk not being present, Lovisa Gause was appointed clerk for the day.
Our beloved Friend Lydia M. Chace, in the course of a religious visit, acceptably attended this Meeting and produced a minute of unity and concurrence from Shawnee Monthly meeting of Friends held 9th month 4th 1869. Her company and gospel labors have been satisfactory to us.
A certificate was received, read and accepted for Thomas C. Dunbar and family from Back Creek Monthly Meeting, North Carolina dated 8th month 16th 1869.
The meeting concluded.

The clerk not being present, Cynthia Holaday was appointed clerk for the day.
Mary Beals, Rebecca Butler and Louisa Dunbar are appointed to attend the Quarterly Meeting as our representatives and report to next meeting.
A certificate was received, read and accepted conveying to this Meeting the right of membership of Nathan Morris and Abigail his wife and their minor daughter Mary from Back Creek Monthly (Meeting), Grant County, Indiana, held 10th month 14th 1869.
(P 6) Rebecca Butler and Elizabeth Burks are appointed caretakers for the Quarterly Meeting.
The clerk having requested to be released, Elizabeth Burks, Cynthia Holaday and Amelia Butler are appointed to bring forward the name of a suitable Friend to serve as clerk and report to next meeting.
The meeting then concluded.

The Friends appointed at last meeting to attend the Quarterly Meeting as caretakers report they attended.
The Friends appointed at last meeting to bring forward the name of a suitable Friend to serve this meeting as clerk inform this Meeting they are not ready to report and they are still continued and directed to report to next meeting.
The representatives report they all attended the Quarterly Meeting.
