The committee appointed in last month to assist in reseating the meeting, not being ready to report, are continued to report to next meeting.

Read a sojourning minute from Popular Grove Monthly Meeting of Friends, Howard Co., Indiana, for Sarah Jones and children which was satisfactory to the meeting.

Mary Wasson and Rebecca Butler are appointed to attend the approaching Quarterly Meeting as representatives and report to next meeting of their attendance with what may be given them in charge.

Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Women Friends held 5th month 16th 1868.

The 1st, 2nd and 8th queries with corresponding answers to them were read in this meeting which are directed to be forwarded to the Quarterly Meeting by Amy R. Kemp, Phebe Jones and Mary Dunbar whom we appoint to attend the Quarterly Meeting as our representatives. They are directed to report to our next Monthly Meeting of their attendance and what may be given them in charge.

Simon Jones requests the rights of membership of himself and family conveyed to Spring River Monthly Meeting of Friends, Cherokee Co., Kansas. Amy R. Kemp and Sarah Henley are appointed in conjunction with Men Friends to make inquiry; and if they find nothing to hinder, to prepare and produce one to next meeting.

Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Women Friends held 6th month 20th 1868.

The clerk being absent, Mary E. Kemp was appointed clerk for the day.

The Friends appointed at last meeting to attend the Quarterly Meeting as representatives report two of them attended.

The committee appointed to prepare and produce a certificate for Simon Jones and family have produced one which the clerk is directed to sign.

We have at this time the company of Dorcas Hunt, a minister from Spring Creek Monthly Meeting, Iowa, producing a minute of unity from that Meeting. Her company and services amongst us have been satisfactory.

(P 57) Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Women Friends held 9th month 19th 1868.

The representatives report two of them attended and there was nothing (given) them for this Meeting.

The clerk not being present, Louisa Dunbar was appointed clerk for the day.

Delilah Hayworth, Mary Beals and Sarah Henley are appointed in conjunction with Men Friends to bring forward to next meeting the names of Friends to serve as Book and Tract Committee, First Day School Committee, also the African and a Committee on Education.

Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Women Friends held 10th month 17th 1868.

The Friends appointed in last month to bring forward names to serve the several committees propose for First Day Schools Committee: Asa Holaday, Robert Hodson, T. H. Jones, James M. Dunbar, Lewis C. White, Mary E. Kemp, Phebe Jones, Sarah Henley, Cynthia Holaday an Delilah Hayworth.

The same names were submitted as a Committee on Education.

For Book and Tract Committee: T. C. Dunbar, Oliver Butler, A. W. Wasson, T. H. Jones, Calvin Barnard, Mary Dunbar, Jane Durham and Rebecca Butler.

For Freedmen's Committee: Solomon Edwards, Lewis C. White, Jesse Beals, Amy R. Kemp, Mary Beals, Mary Wasson and Elizabeth Burks.

Our Friend Sophiah Elleman has very acceptably attended this Meeting and produced a minute of unity and concurrence from Spring River Monthly Meeting held 7th month 11th 1868, whose company and gospel labors have been satisfactory.

Our Friend Amos W. Hampton and Mary his wife attended this Meeting in company with Sophiah Elleman and produced a minute of unity and concurrence from Spring River Monthly Meeting held 7th month 11th 1868.

A certificate was received, read and accepted conveying to this Meeting the rights of membership of Thomas Butler and Amelia C. his wife with their minor son William from Lynn Grove Monthly meeting, Iowa, held 9th month 3rd 1868.

(P 58) Sarah Henley, Rebecca Butler, Mary Dunbar and Jane Durham are appointed representatives to attend the ensuing Quarterly Meeting and they are directed to report to next meeting on account of their attendance with what may be given them in charge.

Mary E. Kemp and Betsy Burks are appointed caretakers to attend the approaching Quarterly Meeting and they are directed to report to next meeting of their care and attendance.
