Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Friends held at Lane 1st month the 16th 1875.

The clerk not being present, Isaac Arnold was appointed for the day.

The committee appointed to treat with Allen Hayworth, upon charges prepared by Spring Grove Preparative Meeting, find the charge of misrepresentation to be sustained, but of obtaining property unlawfully, they have not been able to establish, but did not find him disposed to make satisfaction. This Meeting then disowns him from being a member with us. The clerk is directed to notify him and report to next meeting.

The first, second and eighth queries were read in this (meeting) with answers, a summary of which is directed to be forwarded to the ensuing Quarterly Meeting in the hands of Isaac Arnold and A. W. Wasson whom we appoint as our representatives and they are directed to report to next meeting.

(P 210) Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Friends held at Lane 3rd month 20th 1875.

The representatives report none of them attended the last Quarterly meeting.

The Central Relief Committee directs that this Meeting appoint a committee of three to find out the needs of Friends and distribute such aid as may be given to their charge. We appoint A. W. Wasson, Isaac Arnold and Lewis Jones as said committee.

Spring Grove monthly meeting of Friends held at Spring Grove 4th month the 17th 1875.

Nathan Morris, a minister, now returns his minute granted him in sixth month last to attend some Meetings within the limits of Springdale going and returning and to appoint some meetings within the limits of this Meeting all of which have been satisfactory.

(P 211) Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Friends held at Lane 5th month the 15th 1875.

The first, second and eighth queries with written answers were read in this meeting, a summary of which we forward to the Quarterly Meeting in the hands of Lewis Jones and Samuel Holaday whom we appoint as our representataives. They are directed to report to next meeting what may be given them in charge.

Jesse Beals, A. W. Wasson, David Davis and Silas Cook are appointed to attend the Quarterly Meting as caretakers.

Caleb Picket requests our certificate of his and family's rights of membership to Spring River Monthly Meeting. Jesse Beals and Lewis Jones are appointed in conjunction with a similar committee of Women Friends to make the necessary inquiry; and if they find nothing to hinder, prepare and produce one to next meeting.

(P 212) Spring Grove Monthly meeting of Friends held at Spring Grove 6th month the 19th 1875.

The representatives report they attended the Quarterly meeting but did not receive anything in charge.

The caretakers report (they) attended to their appointment.

Silas Cook

The Meeting after deliberation accepts the above offering and continues him in membership.

The committee appointed in Caleb Picket's request produced a certificate which was directed to be signed and forwarded.

(P 213) Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Friends held at Lane 7th month the 17th 1875.

A communication was received from Timberhill Monthly Meeting acknowledging the reception from this Meeting for J. R. Townsend and wife.

A certificate was received, read and accepted for Charley Davis from Salem Monthly Meeting, Iowa, dated sixth month the 5th 1875. The correspondent is directed to notify Salem Monthly Meeting of the reception of the same.

Solomon Hunt and Sarah his wife, expecting to remove and settle within the limits of Bloomfield Monthly Meeting, Indiana, request our certificate of their rights of membership conveyed to that Meeting. Samuel Holaday and Jesse Beeals are appointed in conjunction with a similar committee of Women Friends to prepare and produce one to next meeting if they find nothing to hinder.

(P 214) Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Friends held at Spring Grove 8th month the 21st 1875.

The queries with answers from the Preparative Meetings were read in this meeting, a summary of which we forward to the Quarterly Meeting in the hands of Jesse Beals and Nathan Morris whom we appoint as our representatives. They are directed to report to next meeting.

The advices were read in this meeting and we trust considered.

Jesse Beals, Lewis Jones and Isaac Arnold are appointed to report the general statistics to the Quarterly meeting and report to next meeting.

The committee appointed to prepare and produce a certificate for Solomon Hunt and wife produced one which was directed to be signed and forwarded.

Susanah Bales (Beals) acceptably attended this meeting with a minute of unity and concurrence from Springfield Monthly Meeting of Friends held 2nd month 18th 1875 whose labors of love and company have been very satisfactory.

The clerk being absent, Jesse Beals was appointed clerk for the day.

The representatives report that they all attended the Quarterly Meeting.

The Friends appointed to foward the statistics of this Meeting to the Quarterly Meeting report attended to.

The clerk not being present Samuel Holaday was appointed clerk for the day.

The following named Friends were appointed to attend our next Quarterly Meeting as representatives and report to next meeting, viz: Nathan Morris and Jesse Beals.

After considering together, it is the judgment of this Meeting that the Lane Meeting be discontinued.

(P 216) Spring Grove Monthly Meeting of Friends held at Spring Grove 12th month 18th 1875.

The clerk not being present, Jesse Beals was appointed clerk for the day.

Friends appointed to attend the Quarterly Meeting as representatives report none of them attended.

By an extract from the Quarterly meeting, this Meeting is informed that the Quarterly Meeting is united in discontinuing Lane Meeting and the Monthly Meeting hereafter be held at Spring Grove; also this Meeting's apportionment of the printed minutes of the Yearly Meeting which has been partly distributed.

By an extract from the Quarterly Meeting, this Meeting is directed to raise eighteen dollars and seventy-five cents, this Meeting's apportionment of Yearly Meeting stock, and forward to the treasurer as early as practical.
